(Lentebb magyarul) One day on a monday morning we woke up and went it to the school. We were very excited. We met each other in front of the school: Topen, Lóri, Renátó, Zsolti, Alex and Dávid bá. We are the Corn Band.We started the morning with a rehearsal because we had two concerts later on that day. We had a lot of fun at the local gypsy Santa Claus event where we started the day. We performed with new instruments, for example with a cajon. After the gig at Ózd, the Kukorica Band headed to Pest. We were all looking forward to the concert there, for many of us it was the first time visiting the capital. Ákos and Maki arrived here in Várkony (where we live and go to school) in the afternoon . The moment we got in to the car we grabbed our instuments and rap and gypsy music were on all the time because that's what we love. We've been playing together for a year now.We were excited about what will it be like to play with other musicians and strange instruments. We performed at a place called Hátsó Kapu. After a short exploration of the place, we jumped in to the music. We shared the stage with many great musicians, it was intresting how they knew right away what we want and how we want to play. Renátó led us very well.We liked every instrument. The lute, the saxophone, the sound drum, the jew's-harp,and the girls had a great voice too. We had the chance to perform with rap stars, which felt amazing. Later, on the evening after we played a lot, we went back home. On the long road everybody passed out, we only wake up for the stops. We had a lot of fun, we hope to play with them again. It was an awesome day! (Corn Band) Egyszer egy hétfői napon felébredtünk és elindultunk a suliba. Nagyon izgatottak voltunk. A suli előtt találkoztunk egymással; Topen, Lóri, Renátó, Zsolti, Alex és Dávid bá. Mi vagyunk a Kukorica Együttes. Már reggel próbával kezdtünk, mert aznap két koncertet adtunk. Nagyon jó volt a városi romamikuláson, ott kezdtük a napot. Új hangszerekkel léptünk fel, egy cajonnal. Az ózdi koncert után a Kukorica Együttes Pestre készült. Már nagyon vártuk az ottani fellépést, sokan közülünk most először voltak a fővárosban. Ákos és Maki délutánra ért ide, Várkonyra, ahol élünk és suliba járunk. Miután beszálltunk, előkerültek a hangszereink és folyamatosan ment a rap és a cigány zene, amit nagyon szeretünk. Mi már egy éve játszunk együtt. Vártuk, hogy milyen lesz együtt játszani más zenészekkel, ismeretlen hangszerekkel. A Hátsó Kapu nevű helyen léptünk fel. Miután szétnéztünk, bele is vágtunk a muzsikába. Sok jó zenésszel voltunk egy színpadon, érdekes volt, hogy ők egyből tudták, hogy mi mit és hogyan szeretnénk játszani. Renátó ügyesen vezetett minket. Minden hangszer tetszett nekünk. A lant, a szaxofon, hang drum, doromb, és hát a lányoknak is nagyon jó hangja volt. Sikerült rapsztárokkal is együtt nyomulni, ami nagyon jó érzés volt. Este miután már nagyon sokat játszottunk, elindultunk haza. A hosszú úton mindenki kidőlt, és csak a pihenőknél ébredtünk fel. Nagyon jól éreztük magunkat, reméljük, hogy fogunk még játszani velük.
