Ibn al-Qayyim (may Allaah have mercy on him) said:
Zina encompasses all the characteristics of evil:
Lack of religious commitment,
Loss of piety,
Loss of chivalry,
Lack of protective jealousy (gheerah)
You will not find any adulterer who is pious, or keeps his promises, or speaks truthfully, or is a good friend, or has complete protective jealousy towards his family.
Treachery
Lying
Betrayal
Lack of modesty
Lack of awareness that Allaah is always watching
Lack of chivalry
Loss of protective jealousy from the heart – these are the effects and implications of zina.
One of the effects of zina is that it earns the wrath of Allaah because His sacred limits are transgressed.
Darkening of the face
Grimness and misery of face that are apparent to other people.
Darkness of the heart and the extinguishing of its light (which is what causes the extinguishing of light in the face and the darkening thereof.)
It leads to poverty
Loss of respect & the lowering of his status in the eyes of his Lord and in the eyes of His slaves.
You lose the best of attributes, namely chastity, goodness and righteousness, and it earns him their opposites, namely immorality, evildoing, adultery and betrayal.
He will feel uneasy and distressed, for adulterers are doing the opposite of what they are seeking.
You lose the title of believer, as it was narrated in al-Saheehayn that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “No adulterer is a believer at the moment when he is committing adultery.”
Alienation which Allaah instills in the heart of the adulterer, and this is like the alienation that shows on his face.
Lack of respect, as his family, friends and others lose respect for him, and he becomes the most despicable thing in their sight; this is in contrast to the chaste person, who is blessed with dignity and sweetness.
People will regard him as a traitor and no one will trust him with regard to his wife or child.
The foul odour that will emanate from him and be detected by everyone who has a sound heart; it will emanate from his mouth and body, and were it not for the fact that there are all the people have a similar odor, that smell would spread far and wide.
He has exposed himself to missing out on the delights of al-hoor al-‘iyn in the beautiful abodes of the Garden of Eden (Jannaat ‘Adan).
Allaah has forbidden Paradise to every evil person, and He has made Paradise the abode of the good, and no one will enter it but those who are good. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):
“Those whose lives the angels take while they are in a pious state (i.e. pure from all evil, and worshipping none but Allaah Alone) saying (to them): Salaamun ‘Alaykum (peace be on you) enter you Paradise, because of that (the good) which you used to do (in the world)”
[al-Nahl 16:32]
“and its keepers will say: Salaamun ‘Alaykum (peace be upon you)! You have done well, so enter here to abide therein”
[al-Zumar 39:73]
So they will deserve the greeting of the angels and admission to Paradise because of their goodness. But the adulterers are among the most evil of creation, and Allaah has made Hell the abode of evil and its people. When the Day of Resurrection comes, the evil will be distinct from the good, and the evil will be piled up together, then it and its people will be thrown into Hell. No one who is good will enter Hell and no one who is evil will enter Paradise.

For the one who is chaste has sweetness in his face and contentment in his heart, and whoever sits with him feels at ease with him. But the adulterer has signs of alienation in his face and whoever sits with him will feel uneasy.

Similarly, those who enjoy forbidden images in this world will also be deprived of such in the Hereafter. Indeed, everything that a person gets in this world, if he indulges in it by permissible means, his share of it on the Day of Resurrection will be reduced to the extent that he indulged in it. And if he got it from haraam sources, he will lose out on it altogether on the Day of Resurrection.

He may seek help to commit zina by means of sihr (witchcraft) and shirk, and he may or not know that this sin inevitably includes other sins committed beforehand or alongside it, and that it leads to other kinds of sins that come after it. It is surrounded by a host of other sins that come before and after. It is the thing that is most likely to bring about evil in this world and the Hereafter, and the most likely to prevent good in this world and in the Hereafter.

“That is so because Allaah will never change a grace which He has bestowed on a people until they change what is in their ownselves. And verily, Allaah is All-Hearer, All‑Knower”
[al-Anfaal 8:53]
“But when Allaah wills a people’s punishment, there can be no turning back of it, and they will find besides Him no protector”
[al-Ra’d 13:10]

These are some of the harmful effects of this action.

It is the Youth who always in history bear the burden of change.

The Importance of Loving Prophet Muhammad (pbuh):

Love of the Prophet (s) is a requirement on every believer. This is mentioned in Qur’an:

“Say, [O Muhammad], "If you should love Allah, then follow me, [so] Allah will love you and forgive you your sins. And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful."” (Ali `Imran, 31).

"There has certainly been for you in the Messenger of Allah an excellent pattern for anyone whose hope is in Allah and the Last Day and [who] remembers Allah often." (Al-Ahzab, 21)


Love of the Prophet (ﷺ) is what differentiates the believers in the perfection of their Iman. In an authentic hadith related in Bukhari and Muslim, the Prophet (ﷺ) said:

“None of you believes until he loves me more than he loves his children, his parents, and all of mankind.”

Allah sent Ibrahim [ﷺ] as the Messenger to teach the Chaldeans, Assyrians and the Babylonians that worshipping the celestial bodies was wrong.

Allah said: And (remember) when Ibrahim (Abraham) said to his father Azar: “Do you take idols as aliha (gods)? Verily, I see you and your people in manifest error. Thus did we show Ibrahim (Abraham) the kingdom of the heavens and the earth that he is one of those who has Faith with certainty. When the night covered him over with darkness he saw a star. He said: “This is my lord.” But when it set, he said: “I like not those that set.”[6:74-76]

Allah doesn’t set or is covered with his darkness, nor do His signs disappear from His servants.

Allah said: When he saw the moon rising up.” in the East Ibrahim[ﷺ ]said: “ “This is my lord.” The Moon is bigger and brighter than the stars. However when the moon set Ibrahim said: ““Unless my Lord guides me, shall surely be among the erring people.”[6:77]

When the Moon set he realized that it was just like the rest of the stars. During that time the erring people were those who worship the brightest celestial body in the sky

Allah said: When he saw the sun rising up, he said: “This is my lord. This is greater.”[6:78]. The sun in his mind at that time was greater than the Moon and planets.

Allah said: But when it set, he said: “O my people! I am indeed free from all that you join as partners in worship with Allah.[6:79]

The Chaldeans, Assyrians and the Babylonians used to worship the planets, the stars, the sun, and the moon. They believed that these celestial beings were responsible for driving the forces of this earth. Those people during that time excelled greatly in Astronomy. They would draw closer to the cosmic universe with sacrifices and supplications. This resulted in the practice of Astrology and Zodiac signs being done. This practice was rampant around the World with Ibrahim’s nation.

Allah appointed Ibrahim as the Messenger to teach his people that worshipping the celestial bodies wasn’t correct and that they only moved as Allah willed. They were non- living beings, without intellect, or the ability manage and govern affairs. These cosmic beings rise and set at Allah’s commands. Allah is the One who moves everything in this Universe. Ibrahim used the proof that these bodies in the sky set as a result of Allah’s Might. Therefore they shouldn’t be worshipped or prayed to, or have sacrifices made to them. Ibrahim established this publicly in the pure call to Tawheed.

Allah said: Verily, I have turned my face towards Him Who has created the heavens and the earth Hanifa (Islamic Monotheism, i.e. worshipping none but Allah Alone) and I am not of Al-Mushrikun [6:79]

Allah said: He said: “Do you observe that which you have been worshipping,”You and your ancient fathers?. “Verily! They are enemies to me, save the Lord of the ‘Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists);. “Who has created me, and it is He Who guides me;. “And it is He Who feeds me and gives me to drink.. “And when I am ill, it is He who cures me; “And Who will cause me to die, and then will bring me to life (again);”And Who, I hope will forgive me my faults on the Day of Recompense, (the Day of Resurrection),”. My Lord! Bestow Hukman (religious knowledge, right judgment of the affairs and Prophethood) on me, and join me with the righteous.[26:75-83]

Free from shirk, misguidance and the worshipping of the creation; Sun, Moon, stars and the planets.Were the polytheists quiet after Ibrahim destroyed their falsehood? No !

Allah said: His people disputed with him[ 6:80] they argued with him defending their shirk and turning away from the upright religion of Tawheed.

Ibrahim said: Do you dispute with me concerning Allah[6:80] about Tawheed-singling Allah alone in worship.

Ibrahim said: He has guided me[6:80] to Tawheed.

Allah mentioned Ibrahim said: and I fear not those whom you associate with Allah in worship.[6:80] They tried to incite fear into Ibrahim when he turned away from the things they worshipped.

Allah said that Ibrahim said: except when my Lord (Allah) wills something.[6:80] If anything happens to me then it’s not a result of your deities, non-living beings which have no intellect and can’t do anything. If anything happens then it’s because my Lord willed it and wanted it to happen.

Allah said Ibrahim told them: “My Lord comprehends in His Knowledge all things. Will you not then remember?[6:80] Allah created the World and does what He wills and for something to exists He simply says: Be and it exists. Allah has the strength over his servants and not the other way around.

“And how should I fear those whom you associate in worship with Allah”[6:81] meaning those non-living creatures and celestial bodies which don’t control their own lives, not to mention someone else’s.

This is a reminder to attract your attention towards some people who are more beloved to ALLAH than us and are being tested by him.

It has been narrated by Saeed through his chain from Hibban bin Jabalah, that the Messenger of Allah (SAWS) said: “Indeed it is obligatory upon the Muslims to free their captives or to pay their ransoms.”

Ibn Qudamah Al-Hanbali said (Al-Mughni 9/228):
It is obligatory to pay the ransom money for the Muslim prisoners, if it is possible.
This was also said by Umar bin Abdul-Aziz, Imam Malik and Ishaq. It has been narrated from Ibn Zubair that he asked Al-Hassan bin Ali about freeing the prisoners. Al-Hassan replied: “It is obligatory upon the entire Earth on which he was fighting.”

Sheikh-ul-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah said (Al-Fatawa 28/635):
Freeing the prisoners is one of the greatest compulsory deeds and spending ransom money and other means towards that, is one of the greatest ways to come close to Allah.

Abu Dawud mentions the hadith narrated by Abu Talha Al-Ansari and Jabir Bin Abdullah, that the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said, “No man forsakes a Muslim when his rights are being violated or his honour is being belittled except that Allah will forsake him at a place in which he would love to have His help. And no man helps a Muslim at a time when his honour is being belittled or his rights violated except that Allah will help him at a place in which he loves to have His help”.

By the blessing of ALLAH azzawajal we all are living in the comforts of our home we can go where we want and do what we like but there are people who are our dear brothers and sisters that are imprisoned and are alone sitting in between 4 closed walls and they have no one to talk to they are seperated from their families and kids and at times abused and tortured or killed.

Abu Musa reported the Messenger of ALLAH(S.A.S.) saying “A believer is like a brick for another believer, the one supporting the other. The Prophet then clasped his hands with the fingers interlaced (while saying that).” (Bukhâri 3 /626 and Muslim 4/6257)

The Messenger of ALLAH(S.A.S) said that we are a single body, if one part feels suffering the whole body is restless.

Is not the Muslim the brother of a Muslim? "...he does not forsake him, nor despise him."

So don’t wait and go grab your pen or the keyboard and let them know that you care about them. I will make a list of points here in all the possible ways you can help them whether you are brother or sister.

1) Raise your hands towards the heaven and make dua and dua and dua, do not under esitmate the power of the dua especially the dua of the oppressed, beg ALLAH and plead him and ponder upon the situation of the prisoner while making dua of how they are feeling in the 4 closed walls which would make you cry and humble yourself.

some of the best times to make dua are
i) Right after the completion of Fard salah

ii) third part of the night
iii) During your prostration
iv) Between asr and maghrib on Jummah
v) Between Adhan and Iqama.

And when My slaves ask you (O Muhammad SAW) concerning Me, then (answer them), I am indeed near (to them by My Knowledge). I respond to the invocations of the supplicant when he calls on Me (without any mediator or intercessor). So let them obey Me and believe in Me, so that they may be led aright. [Quran 2:186]

Is not He (better than your gods) Who responds to the distressed one, when he calls on Him, and Who removes the evil, and makes you inheritors of the earth, generations after generations? Is there any ilah (god) with Allah? Little is that you remember! [Quran 27:62]
